Hal Holbrook is the American Emmy-winning actor who portrays James Dempsey.
About
Hal Holbrook has appeared in many television programs and films. Some of these credits include Abraham Lincoln in the television series Lincoln, as well as appearances in ER, The Sopranos, and many others. He also provided the voice of Amphitryon in the 1997 film Hercules.
Hal has also acted on the Broadway stage in the one-man drama Mark Twain Tonight! and as Shakespeare's King Lear at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, California.
In addition to acting, Hal is a credited director, his most notable works of directing being four episodes of Designing Women spanning 1988-1990.
