James Dempsey is Vicky Roberts's mysterious employer. He is a very wealthy man who has many connections. He takes a great part in the conspiracy and was either directly or indirectly responsible for many of the obstacles the protagonist faces.

Character History

2010

Dempsey ran an organization that tested hybrid children and drained them of their youth in order to extend his life. He manipulated Vice President Jarvis into arranging the assassination attempt on the president and ordered Michael Buchanan to fly the plane. He took a trip to France where he attempted to kill Vicky Roberts after she and Sean Walker journeyed there to murder him. He then claimed that he was from an ancient group of sentries meant to protect the world against non-terrestrials. He enlisted Sean to assassinate Sophia because he believed that he is the only person capable enough of accomplishing such a task. He committed suicide with a pistol shortly afterward, leaving only a bag of objects for Sean to use in his quest. This lead Vicky and Sean to seriously question his sanity.
