2010

After the threat on the President's Retreat passes, President Martinez and his family are taken to a hangar in Coral Gables. There, Justin Murphy briefs the President on matters regarding the plane that had been flying towards them (To Keep Us Safe). Later, Justin informs Blake Sterling of the antics of Sean Walker in Yuma, AZ. Blake asks Justin to "take care of it" (Protect Them from the Truth).

Justin attends the President's emergency meeting regarding the sickness of the Avias 514 survivors. He tries to trace one of Thomas's phone calls, but fails. (Casualties of War)

When the government team realizes that they have a mole among them, Justin devises a plan to determine his or her identity by scanning the agents for the tracker isotope used on Sophia. Simon Lee, the mole, is understandably reluctant to allow him to proceed, stating that it would offend the team to be accused of treason. He volunteers to scan them himself, but Justin remarks that someone must scan him too. Simon attacks Justin with the scanner, knocking him unconscious and locking him in the trunk of a car. (Loyalty)

Justin is rescued by the other agents after Thomas and Sophia escape. He frantically demands to contact Directer Sterling, emphatically repeating that Simon is the mole. The rest of the team are reluctant to believe him, particularly Sterling and Mike Garret, an old friend of Simon's. Justin insists that Simon must be the mole, so Sterling tells Garret to search the coffee shop for clues while he has Simon's blood tested. Unfortunately for Justin, Aaron plants Justin's fingerprints at the coffee shop, resulting in Justin being accused of treason and arrested. (I Know Who You Are)
