Laura Innes is the actress who portrays Sophia Maguire.

About

Perhaps best known for her role as "Dr. Kerry Weaver" on the television series ER, Laura Innes has acted in several television series and films. Her television acting includes a role on the soap Another World in 1988, and recurring roles on Hey Dude (1989-1991), Wings (1991-1993), and The Louie Show (1996). She also acted in single episodes of Party of Five (1994) and The West Wing (1999). Laura has also acted in films on television such as See Jane Run (1995) and Taking Back Our Town (2001), and in cinema including The Fury (1978) and Deep Impact (1998).

In addition to acting, Laura has directed episodes of several television shows, including several of The West Wing, Brothers & Sisters and ER, and single episodes of Journeyman and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. She also wrote an episode of Hey Dude (1991).
