Scott Patterson is the actor who portrays Michael Buchanan.

About

Scott Patterson is best known for the role of "Luke Danes" in the hit television series Gilmore Girls. Scott was part of the principal cast for Aliens in America (2007-2008), and had recurring roles in the series Fired Up (1997-1998), Justice League (2005), and 90210 (2010). He also appeared in single episodes of Seinfeld (1995), Silk Stalkings (1996), and Will & Grace (1999).

In film, Scott played "Agent Peter Strahm" in Saw IV (2007), Saw V (2008), and Saw VI (2009). He also had roles in other cinema films including Intent to Kill (1992), Little Big League (1994), Three Wishes (1995), and Her Best Move (2007); and television films such as Alien Nation: Dark Horizon (1994), Them (1996), and Rhapsody in Bloom (1998).

In addition to acting, Scott was part of the stunts crew for the cinema film Blank Check (1994).

Trivia

Scott Patterson played baseball for community colleges in Florida and Arizona. He was then drafted into the minor baseball leagues and played with The New York Yankees, The Atlanta Braves, and The Texas Rangers from 1980-1988.
After starring in numerous productions at The Actors Studio, Scott founded the Arc Light Theater Company in New York City in 1988.
Scott's hobbies include recreational skiing, painting, and composing music on the guitar.
Although he played a diner owner on Gilmore Girls, he never worked in a coffee shop and doesn't drink coffee.
