Vicky Roberts is a shady individual who puts herself into Sean's life at the time of Leila's disappearance. She is a steely assassin who operates under many personas, casting much of her history and character into question.

However, one confirmed truth in Vicky's life is her love for her young son, Adam. At times, this has been shown to complicate her professional activities. It is eventually revealed that Adam is, in fact, a child who Vicky found while working. Her efforts to care for him, to complete her jobs, and to eventually escape the profession, form her primary motivations.

Character History

2005

Vicky joins a team of assassins hired to eliminate a family in their home. However, the group is met with violent resistance. When the fighting ends, the only survivors are Vicky and a baby she finds within the house. Unbeknownst to her employer at the time, Vicky chooses to raise the child, Adam, as her own. Vicky's mother, Mrs. Larson, is shown to regularly care for Adam in Vicky's absence. (Casualties of War)

2010

In Saint Lucia, Sean Walker dives into the water to apparently save Vicky from drowning. Afterward, Vicky and her companion Greg become friendly with Sean and his girlfriend Leila. (I Haven't Told You Everything) However, days later, Vicky holds Leila at gunpoint as her accomplice, Carter, uses Leila as leverage to persuade Michael Buchanan, Leila's father, to fly Flight 514. (To Keep Us Safe)

Vicky, who is revealed to be an assassin, is soon directed to kill Sean Walker, who has become separated from the others. She then takes Leila to the Port of Miami and later a basement, where Sean pursues them with help from a skeptical FBI Agent named Angie Collier. (Protect Them from the Truth) After apparently escaping from Vicky and Carter, Leila calls Sean from a police station, unaware that Vicky and her partners had taken control of the building before her arrival. (A Matter of Life and Death)

Leila discovers the ruse, but is unable to escape. After learning of the trap, Sean sends a photo of Adam to Vicky's cell phone (which he obtained while questioning Mrs. Larson), and threatens to release Adam's location and image unless Lelia is freed. Betraying her orders, Vicky helps Sean and Agent Collier in the ensuing fire-fight. Afterward, Sean, Collier, and Leila escape, while Vicky flees as well. (Casualties of War)

Later, Vicky is summoned by her employer, James Dempsey, who is revealed to have been behind a failed assassination attempt on President Elias Martinez. This attempt was aided by Vice President Raymond Jarvis, who Dempsey had positioned as running mate during the election. Having grown suspicious of Vicky and Jarvis, Dempsey orders Vicky to kill the Vice President.

Jarvis briefly isolates himself from the Secret Service, expecting to meet with Dempsey. He is instead met by Vicky and her partner, who Vicky suddenly kills. Wanting to be free of Dempsey, Vicky tells Jarvis to expose him, and leaves. Before Jarvis can do so, however, he is victimized by an explosion, which Dempsey's agents set as a back-up plan. (For the Good of Our Country)
